Wind power and natural conservation

By now, most everyone knows how important climate protection is. The changes are taking place right in front of our door, as seen in phases of extreme weather such as storms and heatwaves. The last hot summers were very hard on the natural and agricultural landscape.

One mission with numerous benefits for municipalities

The consequences of climate change can be a burden for communities and their citizens. Keeping us safe from flooding, ensuring water quality, and repairing the damage done by storms are just a few of the new realities we are facing. In order to reduce the impact of global climate change, it’s clear that we have to replace fossil fuel with renewable energy sources. As part of its pledge to fighting climate change, Germany is planning to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 % by 2030 (compared to 1990). The plan is that by 2050, more than 90 % of energy production will be generated from renewable energy sources.

What makes this all the more exciting is that energy from renewable sources brings numerous possibilities, like its abundancy. Wind power is one of the most effective forms of energy generation and has the highest potential for local CO2 emissions. Many municipalities are turning to wind power as part of their contribution to help achieve the federal government’s goals. Moreover, the use of wind energy showcases and supports their own climate protection programs.

Sustainable energy: Location factors for businesses and industry

The good news: more and more companies want to switch to sustainable production. This increasingly makes the production of renewable energies advantageous for municipal locations. A good example is Tesla. The electric car manufacturer is building its plant in Brandenburg and wants to meet the energy requirements for production entirely from renewable energies.

Are you considering leading your community into a new energy era and improve your climate with solar and wind energy? If so, our experts will be happy to advise you. We look forward to hearing from you.
